Materials
Tools for Tasting utensils are manufactured from polished stainless steel to an SAE 304 standard. As an austenitic steel (lacking in magnetic qualities), it is an alloy of iron, carbon, chromium and nickel. As such, It is also less electrically and thermally conductive than carbon steel.
